Welcome to the World of Plutocracy

plutocracy

I’ve written this story almost 20 years ago predating it as a futuristic piece where I saw the world heading. It’s by far the most creative piece I’ve written when it appears to be art imitating life. Walk with me through a journey of my imagination.

Introduction to the Short Series: Plutocracy

In a world where wealth and influence hold unchecked power, Plutocracy unveils the chilling ambitions of those who see humanity as a puzzle to be reshaped. The New Vision Corporation, publicly known as a benevolent organization dedicated to equality and social reform, conceals its darker identity as the Eugenics Revival Association (ERA). Behind closed doors, its leaders—an elite council called The Synod—manipulate society under the guise of progress.

Their latest venture, the Minos Creek Subdivision, appears to be a haven for marginalized communities, offering luxury homes, inclusive spaces, and a promise of safety. But beneath the surface, Minos Creek is a carefully engineered experiment. The ERA aims to "correct" human flaws, beginning with erasing the very identities that make people unique.

As the tenants of Minos Creek settle into their seemingly idyllic new lives, suspicion begins to brew. Some see cracks in the community's perfect facade, while others sense an underlying menace in the council's plans. When two unlikely heroes discover the horrifying truth, they embark on a dangerous journey to expose the ERA’s sinister agenda before it’s too late.
